CED
Concordia External Delegation
The University's external delegation team is the heart and soul of the CGAA. We are ranked as the best Model UN team in Canada and 15th in the world.
CED travels to model United Nations conferences across Canada and the United States. Our delegates have won numerous awards at conferences hosted by Harvard (HNMUN), McGill (McMUN), Georgetown (NCSC), and University of Pennsylvania (UPMUNC).

How to Join the Team?
To join the team you need to attend the tryout and be selected to make the team. There is absolutely no Model UN experience required to tryout for the team. As a matter of fact a majority of our members are new to Model UN. We also host weekly training sessions that are optional, but will definitely help you prepare for the tryout. Here is some basic information about the tryout and training sessions:
-
Use the "Sign Up" button to register for the Tryout
-
The tryout will be held in-person Saturday October 1st from 9:30am-5pm at the downtown campus (room location to be announced). Yes, there will be a social event after the tryout 🎉
-
Training sessions will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm-7pm at H-655 (Hall building, SGW Campus) starting on Tuesday September 13th
-
The exact dates of the training sessions are: Sept 13&14, Sept 20&21, Sept 27&28
-
Both weekly training sessions will cover the same material so it is not necessary to attend both.
