Where and how will CONMUN 2022 be hosted?


CONMUN 2022 will be held in person in beautiful downtown Montreal in the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) building of Concordia University.




Where can I stay in Montreal?


You can reserve a room at our conference hotel during checkout! There are also lots of other options in downtown Montreal. Contact chargee.conmun@cg-aa.org with any questions.




What happens after my application?


After your registration is paid in full, our Chargé D’Affaires will email you to welcome you to the conference and confirm when to expect your assignments.




Can my delegation fee be refunded?


Yes, we will be processing refounds on delegate and delegation fees made before March 1st. Purchases made as of March 1st are final.




How will country selection work?


For the sake of parity, countries and character assignments will be assigned randomly.




Will I be able to choose committee preferences?


When you register, we will ask you for your committee preferences and we will do our very best to accommodate those preferences. However, we cannot promise that you will receive one of your preferences.




When will I receive my committee assignment?


After your registration is paid in full, our Chargé D’Affaires will email you to welcome you to the conference and confirm when to expect your assignments. We aim to have assignments distributed as quickly as possible to allow ample time to prepare.




How will I be notified of my committee assignment?


If you sign up as a delegation, your head delegate will receive a confirmation email once all fees are paid. Included in that email will be a date at which to expect assignments. Around that date, your head delegate will receive a list of committee assignments and your countries/characters in those committees. If you sign up as an individual, you will be considered your own head delegate.




When will background guides be available?


We hope to have background guides published in early January 2022. If you have any general committee questions, please contact dg.conmun@cg-aa.org.




Will there still be awards?


Yes! The best delegate of each committee will receive an engraved gavel. The most outstanding delegate(s) and honorable mention(s) will receive personalized certificates. There will also be awards for the best and outstanding large and small delegations.




Will there be social events?


Yes! We know Montreal's reputation as a party city and our team is working hard on exciting social events to live up to that reputation!




Can I apply as a single delegate?


You can definitely apply as a single delegate! Simply hop-on over to the registration tab!
