CRISIS COMMITTEE

HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY

COMMITTEE DESCRIPTION

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-like descendants are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea” (pg. 6). This planet is where you, the delegates, first make your appearance. This committee takes the form of an intergalactic council, which pins the desires of the Vogons against the livelihood of the human race. The Vogons wish to destroy planet earth to make way for a new intergalactic highway, and it is up to the humans to stop this from happening. By any means necessary, it is imperative that either side of this council accomplish their objective. Is it possible to resolve this conflict diplomatically? Do the humans even stand a chance? Regardless of the answer, the most important thing to remember is, as always, DON’T PANIC.
