INTERNATIONAL TENNIS FEDERATION: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
Topic: The Creation of a Player's Association
In 1924, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) was born. ITF was designed to organize teams, tournaments, and to financially assist the world’s best tennis players. Recently, there has been talk about creating a brand new player’s union for tennis. Tennis stars such as Novak Djokovic, and Vasek Pospisil have been at the forefront of the creation of an association, but there is much yet to discuss.
How will the ITF finance this? How will they ensure inclusivity? How will players' rights be ensured? These are all questions that delegates in this committee will have to answer. Delegates in this specialized agency will be challenged to represent characters in the tennis industry tackling the issues regarding the creation of a brand-new tennis union. This committee will require delegates to think outside the box and address all of the possible concerns head-on. Are you up for the challenge?
