All Roads Lead to Mbanza, But Only One Leads to the Throne: The Kingdom of Kongo
The year is 1520, and the Kingdom of Kongo stands face to face with new opportunities. With the arrival of European traders, the rise of regional power struggles, and the growing influence of Christianity, the once-unified kingdom faces internal rifts and external pressures. In Council of the Kingdom of Kongo: Palms, delegates will step into the roles of provincial nobles, royal advisors, merchants, and foreign envoys, each with their own ambitions for the future of the realm.
As trade booms and tensions brew, the council must navigate succession debates, spiritual shifts, and diplomatic intrigue to preserve, or reshape, the legacy of the Manikongo. Will the kingdom stand united, or splinter under the weight of ambition and foreign gold? The drums are beating, and the council is in session.
